BROUGHTY FERRY MAN ON BOARD AND MISSING

Mr Wm Martin, postman, 2 Taypark Place, Broughty Ferry, has been informed by the owners of the Burutu that it is feared his son David Martin (23) has gone down with the vessel on which he served as fourth officer. He has been five years away from home, and has been on board several vessels which have been torpedoed, one being the Carmania.
