TWO LOCAN MEN REPORTED KILLED

... It has also been reported that Private Percy Cook, of Seddon-street, has been killed while on active service. He was in the Grenadier Guards and was formerly a member of the Liverpool Police Force. He was a single man, but an unfortunate circumstance is that his mother is lying seriously ill.
