"A thousand women are wanted at once to train for engineering and other advanced forms of with in the munitions factories. The need is urgent, and the training section of the Ministry of Munitions appeals to women of good physique between the ages of eighteen and thirty-five to offer themselves for instruction in this work. Free tuition, under good conditions, is given in machine work (general and more advanced), oxy-acetylene welding, aeroplane-woodwork, draughtsmanship &c.
An instructional workshop has been opened in Hyde-road, Manchester, and another training centre has been establised at the Liverpool Technical School, Liverpool.
Women with the requisite qualifications should apply at once for admission to one or other of the schools."
